Job Summary
Due to Growth and investment, we are now looking for a time served capstan machinist to join our team.


Your responsibilities will include:


Job Title:
Capstan Lathe Setter Operator


Full time position: 8.00am to 4.30pm Fridays are 4.00pm finish


Reporting to:
Production Manager


Essential Requirements (skills, experience, qualifications)

  • Two years' experience in Fastener Industry preferred.
  • Read and Understand Engineering Drawings.
  • Set and Operate Tangi-Flow Roller Box.
  • Set and Operate Fette heads.
  • Set and Operate Coventry Die Heads.
  • Experience with Grinding and Forming tooling to required dimensions
  • Experience with Exotic Materials (Inconel, Titanium, etc).
  • Knowledge of Inspection Techniques and Measuring Equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with Drilling and Broaching components.
  • Good time keeping

Salary:
From £13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
