A Principal Front Office Developer with expertise in the.
Net/C# software stack is being sought by a leading global energy trader.

You'll be working for a team that encourages empowerment and accountability which sees them employ a flat organisational structure with an emphasis on getting the job done.

The environment is friendly - and as a team they work to support each other. To that end, you will be required to be in the London office 3 times per week.
Most systems are distributed solutions utilising Angular, WebAPI, C# and relational databases.
(Oracle or SQL Server), however we are bursting into more open source tech as needed.


_What we're looking for:
_
A software engineer with expertise in Microsoft eco system including C#, Angular, Sql server and its surrounding eco system.
Experience of Energy based Commodity systems, in relation to either Analytics, Pricing or Trading systems.
The ability to understand a system or problem quickly, while working in a relatively fast-moving environment. Being able to fill in requirement gaps using past commodities experience.
We often need to define system architectures, whether it be Enterprise or Tactical.

Once we have defined a solution we then need to communicate and work with various teams, you will also need to develop the solution.

There is an expectation that you will leaddesign.
Willingness to undertake analysis and testing in certain situations - and where possible de-risk this with test automation. Leadership in test automation, proposing and implementing on a project.

The salary for this role is up to £115k p.a. with an exceptional bonus scheme and 3 days per week in the office based in Victoria.
