Our client is a Cyber Threat Intelligence company that provides a cyber security platform to enable both small and large organisations to quantify and manage their external cyber risk.

Our vision is to make threat intelligence accessible to everyone, by providing real-time, straight forward, actionable threat intelligence tailored to specific business needs.


They do this through a host of technologies designed to perform both automated and manual sourcing of threat intelligence, alongside advanced analytical features that enable business entities to conduct analysis and generate outputs in the form of alerts, reports, or data feeds.


Our client is in a period of expansion of which the Operations Team are at the core; they are looking for a Cyber Intelligence Team Lead to join their team and help lead our growth.

Their core values are, Be You, Innovate, Deliver, Build Relationships and Evolve; they are looking for an individual who can lead a team of Cyber Intelligence Analysts to produce actionable intelligence for their clients.

This includes delivering own research alongside ensuring the team deliver contextualised analysis of industry publications.

Their Intelligence Analysts undertake a broad range of technical and non-technical analysis; consequently, they must keep abreast of the evolving cyber threat landscape and be committed to developing their knowledge and skillset.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing and inspiring effective leadership within team activities, while driving communication collaboration, and innovation
  • Ensuring that the creation and dissemination of intelligence products is carried out through relevant means and in a timely fashion
  • Delivering independent research to support clients and marketing efforts, for example: identification on of cyber threats, trends and reporting of new developments on cyber security topics to include geopolitical and transnational events/issues; provision of indepth technical analysis; and contextualising malware, cybercrime groups, and advanced threats
  • Working effectively with stakeholders to continually understand and refine intelligence products
  • Ensuring that review of intelligence products is carried out effectively with relevant feedback where necessary
  • Providing briefings to relevant senior internal and external stakeholders, when necessary
  • Promoting participation in company marketing initiatives in support of company reputation enhancement and company growth
  • Driving improvements in overall quality and impact of team intelligence products
  • Ultimate line management responsibility for the team, as well as mentoring and development responsibilities
  • Assisting with public holiday cover and works shifts as required to ensure adequate portal coverage

What You Should Bring:

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Intelligence professional, with the following:

  • Experience of managing staff
  • Experience of MITRE ATT&CK framework and mapping
  • Applied knowledge of Threat Actor TTPs
  • Applied understanding of IOC validation practices and sources
  • Extensive practical OSINT capability
  • Extensive understanding of security controls within cyber security frameworks
  • Extensive understanding of computer networks and network security
  • Extensive practical knowledge of network exploitation
  • Experience of managing client relationships (not essential)
  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including some weekend and outofhours cover
