Job overview:


  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  • Cooperate with the organisation, undertaking any other given role within their capabilities
  • Retrain where needed to develop the business
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and advising the Quality Engineer / Senior Quality Manager should any repairs be required.
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for rework; confirming rework

Knowledge & Experience:


  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
  • Ability to use standard engineering equipment
  • Competent in the inspection of machined components
  • Ability to programme or run coordinate Mitutoyo CNC CMM measuring machines
  • Understanding of nonconforming product procedure
  • Ability to understand customer specifications
  • Ability to use Rockwell and Brinell Hardness test machines
