Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and over 400+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Children & Young People CBT Therapist to work in Bournemouth on a full-time basis.

The salary for this permanent Children & Young People CBT Therapist job is £40,000 - £51,000 per annum.


Duties:


  • Contribute to the teaching and training of young people's professionals and other staff working in the service
  • Have autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment and treatment of clients in line with the service, formulating, implementing and evaluating therapy programmes for clients sharing outcomes where appropriate
  • Carrying out clinical audits of service performance, including service user surveys and evaluations helping to collate and disseminate the results for feedback

Requirements of the Children & Young People CBT Therapist:

  • Have experience of working with mental health and children and young people
  • using highly developed communication skills to understand their personal and often very sensitive difficulties
  • A CYP IAPT graduate or have a recorded/registered doctorate level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology or in one of the following nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy plus further postgraduate qualification training in CYP CBT accredited core profession
  • Can share your experience in educating and involving family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying CBT and other psychological formulations with sensitivity ensuring that you are well understood
  • Used to participating in and contributing to multidisciplinary meetings relating to referrals or clients and in promoting and maintaining links with other health and social care agencies
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and maintenance of standards of practice is really important too
