Description

The role will be responsible for all the tooling including preparation for the changeovers and refurbishment. Services and support tooling technician with maintenance tasks of all tooling. Ensuring that tooling is maintained.
They would also be responsiblefor developing and improving changeovers as necessary and ensuring stocks are controlled correctly.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

IT Skills
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fastmoving production environment.
Good problemsolving skills.
Flexible approach to working hours, some cover outside normal working hours will be a requirement of this position.

Desirable

City & Guild Qualification or a Full Technological Certificate equivalent in machine shop engineering
Qualified in the use of Turning, Milling and Grinding Equipment etc.
Previous experience of working in a controlled manufacturing environment, preferably involving good standards of hygiene & housekeeping.
Experience in welding
Proven diagnostic faultfinding skills.
