Description

We are Looking to appoint someone who will ensure the provision of high quality and timely services to support the delivery of the science curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Key Duties:

*Provide and prepare all equipment, chemicals and specimens for practical sessions and examinations.

Support Science teachers with individual students in class during assessment weeks and examination times. To be involved in leading and organising the activities for the extracurricular activities.

*Advise and support teaching staff in the safe and proper use of equipment and contribute to demonstrations as required.

*Under the direction of the Senior Technician, carry out minor repairs to equipment.

*Contribute to the maintenance of the laboratories and equipment in a clean, safe and tidy condition at all times

*Some experience in the care and / or education of children

*Great team-working skills

*Excellent communication skills

*Willing attitude

Job Specifics:

Salary:
£18,925 -£19,622

Job Role :
Full time, Permanent, term-time and INSET days, 39 weeks, 37 hours per week
