Description

Assisted Housing Group are recruiting a multi-skilled handyman to work alongside our growing team to cover multiple properties in the Leeds area.

Main Responsibilities

Small electrical repairs
Painting/decorating of properties when required
Plumbing and drainage repairs
General repairs and maintenance duties on a reactive basis
Fitting firedoors and thumb locks
Laying carpet tiles/flooring/ replacing ceiling tiles
Assisting contractors with inhouse projects
Replacement of door furniture/basic locks and other joinery work
Completing regular checks at individual properties to see if everything is in order
Moving tenants into properties
Other associated duties as and when required
Compile reports of job done including written and media components

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience with a proven track record in dealing with repairs or general building work, experience of assessing repairs/minor adaptations, estimating/quoting on potential works, ordering/purchasing of materials and have excellent customer facing skills.

Fluency in English is essential

Drivers Licence is essential.
