The Columbia is looking for enthusiastic and talented people to provide outstanding service to our guests and to ensure the hotel's standards are at the highest level at all times.

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Hotel Receptionist to join our Team.


Who we are:
The Columbia is family owned hotel in Lancaster Gate, overlooking Hyde Park, just one mile from Marble Arch. With 103 guest bedrooms, 5 large event rooms and spacious guests bar and lounge area.


Start Date:
Immediate


Shifts / Hours:37.5 Hours per week. You will be required to work both early (7am - 3.30pm) and late shifts (2.30pm pm) of which will be confirmed to you in the hotels weekly working rota.


Pay:
£ £12.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Annual salary - £ 20, £23, Discretionary Yearly Performance Bonus. Holiday and Sickness pay.

As a part of the reception team, you will be the main contact for all guests. You will report directly into the front desk supervisor and hotel service manager.


Duties Include:

• Welcoming guests in a friendly and inviting manner;
• Handling cash and payments;
• Check in and check outs;
• Overseeing the hotel public spaces;
• Telephone Enquiries/Reservations;
• General enquiries from hotel guests.

References required, and previous hotel experience is required.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
