As part of the Purchasing team, you will play a key role in sourcing and procuring high quality materials, components and services to support our manufacturing operations worldwide, as well as indirect goods and services to support our corporate functions.

Buyer - Operational:

Key Responsibilities -

  • Execute daytoday purchasing operations for timely and costeffective sourcing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand operational needs and optimise supply chains.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms for optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate across regions to leverage purchasing power and ensure consistency.
  • Drive cost effectiveness, quality improvements, and innovation within assigned categories.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration, performance and value delivery.
  • Play a crucial role in supplier selection and negotiation activities for new product launches.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align purchasing with innovation and play a key role in VA/VE activities.

Experience:
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favourable terms and pricing are desirable.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data
- driven decisions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
