Purchase Ledger Clerk
Maidstone, Kent
Temporary contract, immediate start
Monday to Friday 9am until 6pm
Competitive hourly rate

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing company based in Maidstone, is currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist with a large project.


Responsibilities:


  • Input and payment of supplier invoices
  • Ensure all invoices are authorised and allocated to the correct department
  • Scanning of all invoices into the system
  • Producing Self Bill Account Sales for UK and Import Suppliers
  • Purchasing foreign currency
  • Liaising with other departments and suppliers regarding invoices and queries
  • Process Haulage Invoices
  • Dealing with Supplier Queries
  • Month End Reconciliations
  • Client Debit Suspense Invoices

Work Experience:

  • Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role
  • Experience working in a fastpaced production environment would be advantageous
  • AAT qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Welldeveloped personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of staff
