Are you a Healthcare Assistant working in a
GP surgery
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant and Phlebotomist to join our friendly team. We are looking for 20 hours a week. We are a 5200 patient surgery in Thames Ditton with 3 doctors, trainee doctor and a practice nurse.

At least 6 months experience in a GP surgery within the last two years is needed
Experience in Phlebotomy

The post-holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the practice as part of this employment, such training to include:

Running well person clinics and health promotion programmes by providing a holistic assessment
Carrying out simple dressings under the indirect supervision of the practice nurse.
Document Consultations on the computer

Perform venepuncture

Phlebotomy
Suture removal.
Ensure infection control guidelines are maintained.
Ability to monitor and manage maintenance of stock and equipment to include refrigeration and
Administration pf Flu, Pneumococcal and Shingles vaccination
Administration of B12 injection
