Our client, a fast paced commercial organisation is seeking a talented, qualified accountant to take on the role of Finance Business Partner.

The role will involve:

Supporting the COO and their senior team members
Work with the team to understand the drivers in the cost base and underlying metrics, using reporting and insight to drive improvements and savings. Holding the team to account, measuring success and sharing the results with the team
Ensure accuracy and consistency in the control and valuation of the Inventory
Work with business units to implement change, improve processes, and drive improvements that flow through to the results
Lead the inventory side of system implementation and improvements
Work with business units to ensure that a challenging, accurate plan and forecast is set
Work with business units to analyse results against plan, support with commentary, and assist with reforecast
Work with the wider finance team to ensure forecast assumptions are accurate ensuring accurate working capital forecasting
Support the Company's hedging process, ensuring alignment with group policy
Support the accounting team to ensure a robust and reconciled balance sheet is maintained
Work with the Group Assurance Manager to ensure internal control standards are in place and evidenced, particularly in relation to Stock
Work with the Financial Controller to manage all inventory related aspects of interim and full year audits

You should be a natural problem solver, highly accurate and able to communicate with confidence linking the financial and non-financial worlds.
