Our new client based in Oldbury is recruiting for an additional member to add to their fast growing payroll dept.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop a career in finance/accounts/payroll

Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

£23 - £25K per annum (DOE)


Responsibilities/Job Role:

  • Collating relevant payroll information such as attendance record sheet, sickness forms, personal data changes. bank details, starters, leavers, and changes forms.
  • Assistant with Monthly Payroll duties given by the Payroll Manager.
  • Knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments, for example, SMP/SAP, SPP and SSP.
  • Calculate Joiners and Leavers,
  • Collate and calculate monthly Overtime.
  • Assistant with all monthend and yearend payroll duties such as P60's and P11d's and to assist the finance team with any issues relating to these payroll processes and associated audits.
  • Dealing HMRC, P6 and P9 Tax Codes changes.
  • Deduction for Council Tax, Direct Earnings Orders.
  • Good IT skills, basic level of Excel is essential.
  • High attention to detail is essential.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and progress.
  • A good team player ability to work with accuracy within deadlines.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Honest and Reliable.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • General administration duties such as filing, copying, and scanning.
  • Assistant Payroll Manager monthly keying data, amendments and deduction.
  • Ensure all work is produced and validated in a timely manner.
  • Ad hoc duties.
Proven previous administration experience (ideally from an accounts/payroll background)

Have an excellent attention to detail.

A flexible and approachable person, who is a real team player

Willing to do what it takes to assist the team to suceed


Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
