Logistics Assistant/ Counterbalance Operator


Salary:
£11 - £12 per hour based on experience


Location:
Castle Donington Area


Type:
Permanent


Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.


Overview

Roles and responsibilities of the Logistics Assistant

  • Unloading Inbound Deliveries using a Counterbalance FLT
  • General logistics administration
  • Call handling
  • Accuracy and Damage Checks
  • Update Purchase Lists for Projects


  • BI

  • Annual and Full Annual Stock Taking
  • Update Purchase Lists
  • Order Allocation of Deliveries
  • Complete Dispatch Paperwork
  • Storage management of Picking Materials

Requirements of the Logistics Assistant

  • An in date Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
  • Strong Communication Skills and Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • A Positive Can Do Attitude
  • Physically Fit Due to The Nature of The Role as Some Heavy Lifting Will Be Involved
  • Able and Competent to Work Both Alone and As Part of A Small Team
  • A Keen Eye for Detail
  • Eligibility to Work Within the UK
