The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is looking for a Band 4 Medical E-Rostering Advisor to join the Team supporting the roll-out and maintenance of Health Roster products for medical staff to include e-Job Plan, MedicOnDuty and Activity Manager.

You will have sound rota knowledge and ideally have experience of using the Health Roster system and Medical Staffing.


You will be responsible for providing an effective, professional and comprehensive project support to ensure successful system implementations for the directorates across all divisions.

You will have excellent communication and customer-service skills, the ability to work as part of a team as well as within your own initiative, great attention to detail and a positive mind-set toward continuous improvement and bringing about positive change.

You will have a passion for IT systems delivery and working with computers with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

To assist in the implementation and development of the Trust's electronic rostering system, HealthRoster for Medical Staff


Support the project plan and ongoing day to day management of the Health Medics Optima package to the medical workforce.


To facilitate, train and support users in the implementation of annual leave management and electronic rostering to ensure that it meets the needs of the organisation.


To support users with advice and guidance on using the e-rostering system (Including Allocate Me App) and effective rostering principles.


To support the E-Rostering manager with the development of quality rosters, monitoring key performance indicators and taking necessary steps to improve the creation of rosters.

Add information into the e-rostering system to include new units, new starters, contract variations and processing leavers. This also includes system configuration, such as unit/grade mappings, suspect records, and assignment issues.


To use ESR data to add new staff to the e-rostering system, ensuring that all data is complete and accurate.

Ability to analyse, investigate and interpret complex information or issues.

To feedback progress to the Medical E-Rostering Manager.

To support the rollout of any future modules which may be added to the rostering system.
