Description
Imagine a future where you're at the forefront of our development of hybrid and greenfield storage and flexibility assets across Europe

Join us in this role where you'll lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple European jurisdictions identifying and developing storage and flexibility opportunities.

You'll work with existing development, commercial, and grid teams to progress hybrid opportunities on our existing onshore assets, as well as working with local market and grid specialists to identify high value greenfield opportunities.

You would then lead a team progressing these opportunities from site identification through land agreements, permitting, grid access, system design, and commercialisation.

Welcome to Ørsted Onshore Europe

You'll be part of Ørsted's Onshore Europe team where you, together with your colleagues, will work closely with the wider onshore development team, local country leads and our specialist teams to develop high-quality assets with strong portfolio value potential.

You'll be given a high degree of autonomy and ownership to build a balanced development pipeline with a long-term market outlook and long-term asset ownership mindset.

You'll play an important role in:

  • building our storage and grid flexibility pipeline in Europe
- liaising with our other business units and country leads to identify multi-technology business models and hybrid opportunities
- leading multi-disciplinary teams of technical and market specialists across multiple jurisdictions co-ordinating asset development from land identification through to ready-to-build status
- identifying future system needs and working closely with our innovation teams to identify potential technology solutions
- developing and maintaining a positive safety and quality assurance culture across all activities
- liaising with local and national stakeholders as our storage and flexibility lead.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience in the development of storage assets in Europe
- have an in-depth knowledge of storage and flexibility technology options, their design, development, and commercialisation.

Maybe you've read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don't quite match all the points.

If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
