Abatec is currently recruiting on behalf of a multi award-winning and major Civil Engineering contractor who is delivering a complex and challenging marine project within Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.

This role will be joining the senior management team, contributing towards the successful delivery of a £50m+ heavy Civil Engineering project.

Due to the nature of the project, all personnel are required to obtain SC clearance before starting on the project.

As Site Agent you will:

Be accountable for programme, quality and health, safety and environmental performance on site
Motivate, advise, monitor, and manage work during the construction phase, including prestart and progress reviews, EW, CE notifications
Identify change/risk opportunities and feedback to the Project Manager for resolution
Provide monthly progress reports to the Project Manager

Our client requires a Site Agent with:

A Degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering
Experience of the working for a tier one Civil Engineering contractor
CSCS, SMSTS or IOSH
Ability to lead a site time, ensuring the culture is in line with our clients company values

Salary/Benefits:

- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
