Are you a Senior Security Consultant looking for an exciting new challenge in London?


If the ansiwer is yes then a wonderful client of mine is looking for a Senior Security Consultant with experience in the Built Environment.


This is a wonderfully varied role which will include the preparation and coordination of physical security design advice for the development of
industry leading projects across a broad range of market sectors.

The Security Consulting team is responsible for developing high-quality protective security designs for
many large-scale projects around the world.


You'll be delivering security consultancy and master planning as part of single and multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects in the UK and internationally, encompassing airports, sports stadia, entertainment and performance venues, world-class higher education facilities, transport hubs, museums, advanced hi-tech facilities and more.

You will be client-facing and on a day-to-day basis cover security consultancy, design, project management, operational advice, business development, and even research and development.

Your key duties and responsibilites:


  • Assessing threats, vulnerabilities, and risk to produce risk registers.
  • Developing security strategies to statuary requirements.
  • Producing new design concepts whilst keeping abreast of emerging threats and trends.
  • Providing highlevel advice to clients in relation to the appropriate security technologies in security.
  • Developing and delivering testing programmes and exercises to assure security programme integrity.
  • Supervising and mentoring graduate security consultants.
  • Researching and writing standards, policies, procedures and work instructions for security operations
  • Researching and writing protective security intelligence reports and assessments.

Can you offer the following:


  • Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant institution.
  • Membership of the Security Institute (SyI), Association of Security Consultants (ASC) or International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC).
  • Experience of developing security strategies on a range of projects.
  • Experience of assessing security risks across a variety of projects, sectors, and geographic locations.
  • Willingness to undergo a security vetting if required by projects.
