We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Primary Care Services Coordinator to provide project and organisational support to the Primary Care Planning and Coordination Team.


A flexible approach is key to delivering high quality work at pace, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.

Travel to various locations in South Wales may be required on the odd occasion.


The Covid-19 pandemic impacted the ways in which we work at DHCW and as we have now embraced a hybrid way of working, the postholder's presence will be required on site at the Cardiff office on a regular basis.

Interviewees will be required to undergo a short skills test of 30 minutes at the interview. The topic will be advised once short listing has taken place.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Here is a summary of the Coordinator's key responsibilities

  • Work with the project manager in the production of the required products within the agreed tolerances of the Project Brief.
  • Responsible for producing specified deliverables such as Excel spreadsheets, Visio diagrams and PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist the project manager with drafting project documentation
  • Responsible for the preparation of routine highlight and status reports and adhoc reports
  • Set up and maintain project files.
  • Updating project plans and monitoring the delivery and key milestones
  • Set up and maintain RAID logs for administering project risks & issues.
  • Schedule and organise project meetings and events.
  • Prepare meeting documentation and produce and distribute minutes.
  • Inform people of their followup action points, and ensure they are delivered on time
  • Manage and communicate with a significant number of stakeholders and organisations
  • Work with Project Managers and the Communications team to organise the delivery of projectbased communication.
  • Contribute to the general administration of the Programme and perform other support functions as and when required.
  • Keep skills and knowledge up to date and in line with best practice.
  • Participate in the Performance Review process.
