Red are recruiting for 1 Stock Control Site Operative at the Sneyd Facility.

Key Duties:

Control of vehicle movements on site (if trained as a banksman)
Checking waste is suitable for the intended disposal route and any provisions it has stipulated when quoting for the waste
Sorting waste as required to assess and/or list
Segregating waste that is unsuitable for the disposal route following the sorting process
Bulking of waste as directed by a technically competent person.
Repacking of material into new containers as required to ensure suitability for disposal site and/or transport
Completion of batch sheets/lists to ensure traceability of all waste processed and transferred.
Listing of waste in order to obtain quotes
Preparation of outgoing loads (picking pallets from storage)
Use of SAP to batch waste in order to ensure that the stock listing is correct
Generation and printing of paperwork for drivers from SAP
Loading of outgoing vehicles

Key requirements for the role:

FLT counterbalance license
Experience of working in the Hazardous Waste Sector desirable.
Must demonstrate willingness to work in outdoor conditions in a hazardous chemical environment undertaking a manual/hands on approach.

You will be paid £11.50 per hour. Your normal working hours will be a shift rotation of 5am-2pm and 1pm-10pm Monday to Fridays each week.
