A specialist hospital in Birmingham is now looking for a
ClinicalSpeech and Language Therapist
to join the team on a part-time basis**, supporting adults to improve their speech, language, communication and swallowing abilities after experiencing significant neuro-physical symptoms.


The hospital was purpose-built to offer an ultra-modern, comfortable space with cutting-edge therapeutic technologies and equipment: the ideal setting for patients needing the highest level of rehabilitative support for complex physical and neurological conditions.


As a
Speech and Language Therapist with the MDT, you will assess and implement interventions for patients experiencing dysphagia and difficulties with communication - for example, as part of a post-stroke recovery plan, or to mitigate advancing symptoms of MS or Parkinson's Disease - with access to the latest tools and techniques to help your patients improve their quality of life.

This Clinical Speech and Language Therapist position is
permanent, part-time (30h).


Person specification:


  • Registration with the HCPC as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Previous experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Previous experience with dysphagia.
