Lead Social Impact Consultant


We require a highly experienced Consultant who will help to win and lead projects, and contribute to the long-term growth of an agency that specialises in social research, impact planning, and evaluation.


Position:
Lead Social Impact Consultant


Location:
Glasgow / Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office per week)


Salary:
£50,000 - £65,000 pa depending on experience

Contract:
Permanent, Full time 37.5 Hours per week


Benefits: 32 days flexible holiday entitlement (including 12 public holidays), Company pension scheme, Annual bonus linked into company performance, Potential for equity stake in the company after 12 months.

About the role:


As Lead Consultant you will be working for a well-established agency that conducts research, produces impact evidence, influences policy, and supports others to do the same.

Their clients include frontline not-for-profit organisations as well as those agencies that sit behind and support the frontline - national government, public authorities, corporate brands, funders, and investors.


Your key responsibilities will include:
*Winning new research and consultancy contracts

*Carrying out social research, impact planning and evaluation work

*Ensuring the delivery of projects on time to a high standard

*Managing staff and budgets

*Maintaining excellent relationships with clients

*Supporting the long-term growth of the company


About you:
To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:
*Significant relevant professional experience

*Excellent skills in research, performance measurement and evaluation

*A track record of winning new research/consultancy business

*An ambition to grow the company to the next level

*Experience in managing staff and budgets

*Complementary expertise in a related field

*A highly client-centred orientation

*Experience in servicing third sector and government clients

*A demonstrable interest in social and environmental issues
