About Us
- Highfield Park is an 82 acre park on the edge of St Albans.
- Set up 25 years ago following the closure of two hospitals.
- The park has a mix of woodland, parkland, sports pitches, orchard and allotments.
- The park is managed by a charity Highfield Park Trust.
Role
- We are looking for a Park Team Leader to lead and work as part of a small team supervising activities on a daytoday basis in the park.
- Ideally you should have previous parks / countryside management / sports turf supervisory experience and worked in a similar role working with park users and contractors.
- Leading and supporting a small team of staff you will be responsible for the completion of their work and report to the park manager.
- 37 hours a week
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- 7% employers contribution to a pension scheme
- Uniform provided
- Full driving licence essential
- Certificates of competence in spraying and chainsaws would be an advantage

Up to £30,326.00 per year

Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- relevant: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- driving licence (required)
- Pesticides and Chainsaw qualifications (preferred)
