Residential Support Worker - Children's Residential Care Home


THE COMPANY:

We are a specialist Ofsted-registered children's residential care home provider based in Northampton, providing therapeutic care for children with complex needs in solo residential homes.

We are currently seeking an experienced care worker or senior care worker to join our team.

We value everyone as an individual and provide high quality training, including PRICE Training, Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care, attachment, and more.

All of our young people receive direct support from psychologists and/or other therapists, who also provide training and support to the staff team.

THE ROLE:

This is a very exciting opportunity for the right person, as they will be a pivotal part of the team.

We are a growing company, so there is room for you to grow with us. We are happy to put you on your NVQ Level 4 and train you to become a registered manager.

As a small company with only two care homes, we aim to have a family feel and welcome people who show initiative and creativity.

The role is simple:

• To support, guide and mentor the young people through key work sessions.
• To function as part of a tightly knit team to make the care home run smoothly.
• QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare (desired but not necessary)
• Proven understanding of Ofsted requirements
• Great understanding of the effects of trauma and attachment

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
£27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
