Plant Administrator (Business Support) Margam Green Energy Power Station
Reports to
:
General Manager
Purpose of Role:
To provide a high level of administrative & business support to the Eco2 site team at the Margam biomass power station.
Duties:
- Provide highstandard administrative/business support to the Eco2 management team.
- Support the site management in the collation of data for reporting submissions including reports for Natural Resource Wales, Ofgem, fuel contracts etc.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for the client.
- Use of various online financial packages and site based bespoke databases.
- Dealing with thirdparty communications effectively and conveying to the relevant individual/department.
- Responsible for ensuring the replenishment of office goods i.e. stationary, PPE & consumables etc.
- Raising and approving purchase orders and cross referencing to support site operations and liaising with the wider finance team.
- Prepare for, and participate in various company audits.
- Composing bespoke reports, presentations and statistical data upon request.
- Further Adhoc administrative tasks where necessary.
Required Skills:
- High level of competence in the use of Microsoft packages, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Use of finance software and bespoke site based databases.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An organised and efficient work ethic, including problemsolving and offering creative solutions.
- The ability to work in a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
- A high level of professionalism, grammar, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good time management skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills, show initiative and expand knowledge base.
Location and hours of work:
- Role combines both home working and site based activities. Final details will be agreed at site level, but expected to be (once training completed) a site based minimum presence (at Margam Green Energy) once per week with adhoc additional site based work when business needs require. All other work periods to be worked from home.
- Site based portion of role will be based at Margam Green Energy Power Station (Margam Green Energy, Longlands Lane, Margam, Port Talbot SA13 2NU)
- Hours of work: Monday
- Friday, 09:30 14: hrs/week) half hour lunch per day
- Holidays 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays
- Salary £23,000 per annum (prorate to reflect part time hours)
Job Types:

£13,000.00-£14,000.00 per year
