Delivery Agent (Housing Estate Mains)

Type:
Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 (45 hours per week)

The Role:

As Delivery Agent on our HEMs team you will work closely with Engineers, Highways Authorities and Developers to plan, organise and support field resources in the day-to-day framework operations across several programmes/schemes in the Northern Anglian region.

You will need to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to monitor progress, maximise day to day organisation and competently plan and control all resources, ensuring all administration meets CDM and temporary works requirements.

Responsibilities:

Engage with the design team for new schemes to ensure principles of prevention are utilised
Ensure water quality / hygiene standards within POSWSH are achieved consistently
Produce necessary CDM documentation such as CCP's, Permits, Risk Assessments and Method Statements for each scheme
Supervise site activities and execution of health and safety and quality audits
Promote near miss/hazard reporting and ensure issues raised are resolved and lessons learned are shared to embed a positive health and safety culture including zero harm and zero utility strikes
Lead the engagement with Developers and ensure that their needs are understood and met during the delivery of the operational work, within the Water UK levels of service
Understand the impact of third parties and ensure they are met during the delivery of the scheme
Work to minimise customer contacts by encouraging a right firsttime culture and driving our teams to deliver service excellence to all customers and stakeholders
Attend commercial meetings to review performance, cost and performance improvement plans

What you need to be successful in the role:
We need you to have undertaken NRSWA Supervisor training, SSST/SMSTS or IOSH training, Temporary Works supervisor training and to have achieved a CDM awareness qualification
