Van Delivery Driver - Oxford, United Kingdom - Boothen Limited
Description
We are the largest privately owned blind distributer in the country and an opportunity has arisen to base a driver in the Oxfordshire area.
The successful applicant will need to be comfortable with dealing with customers and will need to be of a responsible nature as they will be working remotely from the main team.
Earnings will be between £550 and £650 a week, Mon to Friday.
The successful applicant will need to enjoy driving as the route will cover around 200 miles a day, delivering to approx 25 locations.
No more than 6 penalty points and we are unable to accept applicants that have been disqualifies for Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs.
Experience & Skills;
- Complete multiple deliveries to customers in the GU, SO and PO postcode areas.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Ensure correct completion of customer documentation.
- Sort and load route to van
- Complete daily safety checks, safe loading / securing load of vehicle.
- Scanning items for delivery using a mobile device.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to make good decisions and work under pressure
