Bookkeeper/accounts Assistant - Nantwich, United Kingdom - Joseph Heler
Description
Working for an award winning, ever-evolving business, joining a busy finance team, we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to support the accounts function of one of our recent business acquisitions.
Duties will include:
- Processing payments to suppliers accurately
- Processing invoices, income and receipts, entering data onto Xero
- Allocating income and expenditure to the correct cost centres
- Completing VAT returns
- Regular bank reconciliations
- Generation of monthly financial statements and business reports
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Supporting with raising and processing sales invoices
- Chasing unpaid invoices and supporting any debt management
- Support with wholesale customer management
- Assist with daytoday operations in the Finance department
- Support the coordination of information for the annual audit
Skills requiured:
- Experienced bookkeeper that understands cost centres, allocation and the management of budgets
- Strong accuracy skills
- Good Excel spreadsheet skills
- Knowledge of Xero Preferred
- Creative within a culture of continuous improvement
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
