Investment Proposition Manager

Edinburgh (Hybrid)

6 Month Contract

Excellent Day Rate


You would be part of a busy team with a focus on delivery, primarily supporting the change projects for investment proposition.


Key Responsibilities

  • The role requires a sound level of investment technical knowledge and relevant skills to be applied to the insured fund business.
  • You'll be involved in development and product management activities that support the investment proposition across all channels.
  • Using your investment knowledge and delivery skills, you'll be responsible for change projects, technical support and research.
  • You'll be involved in fund restructures and managing asset transitions, working with fund managers and custodians.
  • You'll work collaboratively with other proposition teams and wider business areas, to ensure that the propositions truly meet the needs of customers and support the retention and growth of existing customers, as well as the acquisition of new business/customers
  • You'll be able to deal with complex and detailed technical information to present in a clear, understandable and persuasive way for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • You'll have to selfmanage a busy work schedule involving competing priorities
  • You'll play a significant role in governance of the various investment propositions and manage activities in line with all relevant aspects of the company's proposition governance framework

Background

  • You'll have a sound level of investment technical knowledge and relevant skills to be applied to the management of the insured fund business.
  • Experience of proposition/product development.
  • You'll have a solid knowledge of the regulatory framework within which they operate.
  • Strong project management and delivery skills to meet internal and external customer expectations, and make sure all necessary requirements and timescales are met.
  • Experience of Large Fund restructures and transition management.
