Registered Homecare Manager

Dartford, Kent

£40,000 per year

TRC have joined forces with a brand-new homecare service in Dartford They are quite different to the rest as they have committed to producing some special IT systems specifically to aid the manager in overseeing their team.

The focus of the role will berevolved around helping to build and grow our base of clients and caregivers while collaborating across departments to innovate.

Basic responsibilities:

Responsible for the care services delivered by the business
Conduct care assessments for new clients and review and update care plans for existing clients.
Liaison with clients, relatives, representatives, and health professionals.
Responsibility for the care staff and administrative staff.
To help ensure good communication, positive culture and effective team building amongst all staff, including holding regular supervisions, KPIs and team meetings.
Lead on CQC compliance and inspections.
To ensure the business's policies and procedures are maintained and met.
To ensure successful implementation of quality control systems.
Involved with the recruitment and selection of care staff and care partners.
Management of staff retention policy.
Ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively.
To share oncall duties.
Collaborate across departments to help fuel innovation.
In extreme cases (sickness/emergencies) to deliver care services.

Essential Criteria:

Either possess RMA / QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or have the necessary and relevant skills/experience
Awareness of CQC regulations and knowledge of legislation relevant to the home care sector
No criminal convictions
Full driving licence
Own transport
Comfortable with technology

Benefits:
