We are recruiting for a successful business based in Cambridgeshire. They have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join their team.

This role would ideally suit someone with experience of working in an engineering department, however this is not essential as training will be given.

You will need strong IT and administration skills as this will allow you to adapt to a technical environment.


Main Duties will include:

Assist Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers with the completion of their duties, including;

  • Setting up of Projects, including; technical file numbers, internal job numbers and drawing Numbers.
  • Setting part numbers for preorder valves according to P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation diagram).
  • Identifying/Specifying parts and materials to send to purchasing.
  • Monitoring and chasing of parts and materials ordered.
  • Assisting with, Sales, Design, Accounts, Shop floor and Stores queries relating to Project duties.
  • Supporting and understanding the "flow "of the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain the information on the Projects Progress chart.


  • Update weekly

  • Sales orders and Projects Progress Chart.
  • Collation and control of Project images update and review.
  • Assist with formulation of BOM's. (Bill of Materials)
