Sports Medicine Surgical Sales Specialist
-
Experienced surgical sales specialists - preferably gained in orthopaedics, cardiology, or capital equipment - required for Sports Medicine role. Generous basic salary plus £40k OTE annual bonus on offer (uncapped earnings for above target performance)._


IQVIA is proud to be recruiting for a Sales Specialist to cover a territory including Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, across to Peterborough and parts of Essex - the position is working in IQVIA's MedTech division dedicated to our client - one of the world's most highly respected healthcare companies within their Sports Medicine division.


As the primary point of contact for surgeons and their teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's performance for an enviable portfolio of products used in mínimally invasive surgery in the treatment of joint injuries related to sports and physical activity, as well as degenerative tissue conditions.

The products include visualisation and access solutions as well as fixation products for soft tissue repair and to reattach tissue to bone.


Working with the support of a Clinical Product Specialist (who will focus on delivering training, inventory control and other services) you will utilise your analytical skills to establish account needs and develop strategic plans, maintaining and growing existing accounts, whilst taking competitor share and enabling adoption of new technologies to increase new business and drive sales.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Achieving agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.
  • Interacting and promoting products to key customers and stakeholders in secondary care
  • Managing and developing accounts and own the relationship between the Company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximise impact of all activities driving growth
  • Presenting brand value propositions and valueadded customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviours
  • Partnering with Professional Education to develop and maintain associated KOL relationships as well as championing the effective use of the Company's comprehensive Professional Education offering.
  • A proven track record of success in surgical sales ideally within orthopaedics, although cardiology or capital equipment would be considered
  • The hunger and desire to succeed combined with exemplary customer focus.

All applicants must also:

  • Hold a full UK driving license (with no more than 6 points)
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a determined and resilient approach, with a strong work ethic.
Comprehensive initial and ongoing training will be provided; you will receive a generous basic salary and
£40,000 per year in bonus for on target performance (paid quarterly; although this is uncapped, so the sky's the limit)
