See the potential, make the difference

About the Role

The Principal of the Primary Phase will have responsibility for all aspects of the Primary Phase (Nursery to Year 6) as well as working closely with the Principal of the Secondary Phase to continue to strengthen the 'All-through' elements of Oasis Academy Shirley Park.

Working alongside the Regional Director you will lead the staff in realising the vision of establishing and developing a unique, extended learning community that will cater for every child - academically, vocationally, socially, morally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and environmentally.

We are seeking an individual with a strong track record of senior leadership, clarity of purpose and high expectations for all.

As a high-profile individual within the Academy, you will champion the Oasis ethos, support, and develop your leaders and empower their staff teams.

As Principal you will work with passion, commitment, and determination to move the academy forward.

About the Academy

Our Primary Phase has just consulted to become 3-form entry; Year 1 upwards is still 4-form entry.

Our Academy provides a safe and supportive environment where children and parents are welcome.

The leadership team and staff are proud of the academy, which has a reputation for high standards of achievement and behaviour and has been recognised by Ofsted as Good in all areas.

The leadership team are confident that they will be able to move our academy ever onwards. The academy has hardworking staff who care deeply about giving every child the chance to succeed.

:
Love learning, Care for our Community, Build Bright Futures

Effective Support
We do not expect you to do this alone.

You will enjoy the support and challenge of a Regional Director along with the wider Oasis Community Learning National Team.

By being part of a family of 52 Oasis Academies, you will work alongside expert leaders in their field and benefit from a strong support network and partnership with other Oasis Community Learning Primary Academies within the region.

You will have many opportunities to share best practice and drive continual improvement, including an annual national conference and regular regional Principal meetings.
