REMIT:


The internship within the Community department will provide an opportunity to gain insight into a wide range of areas from the day-to-day running of the department, core programmes within schools and on camps, and matchday engagement.

There will be opportunities to gain coaching qualifications and experience with all ages and abilities within both mainstream and specialist settings, as well as managing and delivering on your own projects/events.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the delivery of Community programmes in schools and camps
  • Support on the delivery of Community matchday programmes and activations at home fixtures at cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens
  • Support in some administrative duties
  • Support in promoting and selling Community programmes and products
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE:


  • An effective team member with sufficient flexibility and willingness to take on varied roles and tasks
  • Confident to speak to and engage with large groups
  • Strong administrative skills, including high levels of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • IT literate, with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work without direct supervision when necessary
  • Clear DBS check
  • Full driving license and ability to travel desirable
