Hybrid, 1x per fortnight in office, London

An exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a general insurance provider to define and deliver their data strategy.
The Company
A fast growing, digitally focused general insurance provider is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to work with the CIO and Heads of Department and lead their team to execute the data road map.
The company offers a range of competitive and uncomplicated products and services, including car, bike, van and home insurance, and additional products like breakdown cover and home legal expenses.
The role and responsibilities
- Building out endtoend data pipelines
- Leading 8 data engineers to execute strategic data roadmap
- Design work and working with senior stakeholders
Your skills and experience
- Strong SQL and Python skills (essential)
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferable Azure (essential)
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with CI/CD
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
