Description
DUTIES
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards or customer preferences
- Assess pets' skin and coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming products or treatments
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer preferred
- Strong knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to handle pets with care and patience
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care and ability to identify any health issues during grooming
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail for precise grooming techniques
Freelance basis - part-time
or
Freelance basis - providing emergency cover as and when needed
On a short-term or long-term basis.
PAYMENT
Payment will be a percentage of each groom carried out, rather than a fixed wage (but there wasn't an option to indicate this).
