Senior Technical Developer / Software Developer Leadsought by the IT services department of a leading, national recruitment company to join their head office team near Coventry.


The Role:


Based in their grade II listed head office building, you will join a friendly and professional team to seek new, innovative technologies that will contribute and support a large tech ecosystems for the company.

Reporting to the Development Manager, as SeniorTechnical Developer Lead your responsibilities will include:


  • Providing expertise and architectural assistance in designing and implementing systems that will increase cost effectiveness
  • Working on projects involved in new CRM and Billings systems.
Replacing legacy systems and some middleware where relevant/possible

  • Looking at current systems and if they should write it in house or develop a bespoke solution or buy an 'off the shelf' solution
  • Ensuring designs are welldocumented and preparing detailed technical specifications
  • Mentoring, promoting and encouraging the team to actively take part in improving systems, quality, security and working methods by providing technical assistance and cross training
  • Collaborating with other departments and third party providers to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
  • Sharing your knowledge and experience within the team
  • Helping to ensure the business meets its strategic goals and obligations productively, legislatively, and operationally

The successful Senior Technical Developer / Software Developer Lead will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar, Senior Technical Lead role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise clearly and concisely with colleagues and customers of all levels
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload, and review and effectively schedule work
  • Experience of identifying and achieving objectives to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of front office systems, payroll and accounts is beneficial

Required Technical Skills:

- .Net development,.Net Core

  • C#, JavaScript
  • LINQ, Entity Framework
  • Angular
  • JSON
- jQuery

  • NET Web Forms
  • Good understanding of SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries
  • Azure DevOps
  • Web Services/Web API good knowledge of web technologies and framework

  • Hangfire
  • Azure Platforms
  • Cloudbased integration
  • SOLID
  • Familiar with Design Patterns and Principals
  • SDLC, CI and Agile

Benefits:

- £55,000 - £60,000 salary

  • Free onsite parking (includes electric charging points)
  • Pension 8% employer, 5% employee
pm Mon to Thursday, 9-5pm Friday

  • Some flexibility in start time in conjunction with Manager
  • 22 days holiday rising each year to 29 after 6 years, plus bank holidays
