Classroom Assistant | Brixton | £85 - £105 PAYE | Full-Time | January Start
Ortus recruitment is closely working with mainstream primary school who seek an experienced Classroom Assistant to join their team.

Our partnered mainstream primary school is based in Brixton, has a 'Good' Ofsted rating and have a friendly team of staff who are supporting and will make you feel very welcome and valued from day one.

This role will be a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 16:00 pm).


Previous experience with behaviour management in a school-based environment would be advantageous, but we still encourage applicants with relevant qualifications and experience working with children.


Requirements:


  • A degree or relevant qualifications in Education, Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Drama, or Performing Arts or related field
  • Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check
