Leading and supporting an experienced team of engineers to support the delivery of efficient and effective services to the people of Calderdale.


The ICT and Digital service delivers all Information & Communication Technology (ICT) functions across the Council as well as providing a commercial ICT Support function to third parties such as Schools.


We are looking to recruit a Corporate Lead for Cyber and Infrastructure with a passion for delivery and customer service.

You will need to be a technically competent, a good listener and problem solver with a clear understanding of what excellent looks like.


We are looking for an excellent team coach and mentor, who is an outstanding communicator and who will sensitively drive the effective performance of this busy and friendly team.

The team already have several high-profile projects underway, and these include a network refresh investment that will be a key deliverable for the role.


A member of the senior management team of the ICT and Digital Service the role will involve strategic thinking and tactical delivery across all aspects of ICT infrastructure.


  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to use a range of communication styles to provide a personal approach
  • Able to quickly identify solutions and the ability to implement technical infrastructure
  • Proven ability to deliver technical solutions and an eagerness to learn more
  • A genuine interest in technology, it's use and deployment to support complex organisations
  • Passionate about delivering great customer service
  • Organisational skills and the ability to multitask are essential
