Description
You will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various surfaces within ourmodular buildings. Your primary duties will include preparing surfaces for painting, applying
paint or other finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications.
Attention to detail, creativity, and proficiency with a variety of painting techniques are
essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Prepare walls, ceilings, woodwork, metalwork and other
surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, taping and filling plasterboard, and
using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Surface Repair:
Repair and patch damaged areas of surfaces prior to painting,
including repairing drywall, plaster, or woodwork as needed.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including
the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and ensure a safe working
environment for yourself and others.
Time Management:
Manage your time efficiently to complete projects within
deadlines and budgets. Coordinate with other tradespeople or contractors as necessary
to ensure smooth project execution.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards,
including proper coverage, smoothness, and adherence to specifications.
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance and touch-up work on
previously painted surfaces as needed to maintain their appearance and integrity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator, preferably in residential, commercial, or

Salary:
£10.99-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
