The Vacancy
The Service Lead is a managerial post with responsibility for the dual functions of Tenant involvement and overseeing the management and improvement of complaint handling across the organisation and will work closely with other sections and departments withinthe business and external stakeholders including liaising with the Housing Ombudsman Service


This is an important role in which you will:

  • Oversee the complaints service, ensuring that customers can complain effectively, measuring the quality and timeliness of response in conjunction with Service Managers
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Housing Ombudsman Service and ensuring the requirements of the Complaint Handling Code are met.
  • To lead on tenant involvement ensuring the tenant voice is heard at all levels in the organisation and that customers are listened to, treated with respect, empowered to influence services and hold Torus to account.
  • To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have excellent written and oral communications skills including public speaking, report writing and presentation skills, conveying information in a coherent manner relevant to the audience
  • A highly visible and credible and leader, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams with an ability to gain trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders and partners
