The Role:


A pioneering and well established business on the outskirts of Cambridge are looking for an FP&A Manager to joint them in their quest to increase performance by use of financial analysis, insightful analysis and modelling.

This role will be on a 6-9 monthFTC and will offer up to £65k.


The Responsibilities:


  • Create scenario models and presentations that provide insightful analysis
  • Contribute to the preparation of analytical and strategic papers for DB Group board meetings
  • Provide financial analysis to support with strategic and key business decisions.

The Requirements:


Qualifications

  • Preferably CIMA qualified or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experienced in financial management reporting and planning.
  • Extensive knowledge of operational principles in a manufacturing business.
  • Solid understanding of organisational and product cost structures.
  • Extensive experience developing financial models, reports and metrics.

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Highly accountable and tenacious.
  • Passionate, collaborative and empathetic.
  • Open and honest in approach.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular sophisticated spreadsheet modelling.
  • Able to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including senior management and board level.
