Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare accurate management accounts packs on a monthly basis to agreed timescales, including balance sheet, cashflow, reconciliations, and any detailed variance analysis vs budget/forecast and commentary.
  • Responsible for the business plans, budgets and forecasts; ensuring that these are delivered to tight timescales, with accompanying narrative, bridges, risk and sensitivity analysis.
  • Review accounting processes and practices, to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Manage and monitor accruals and prepayments.
  • Manage capital expenditure and compile business cases for investment proposals and development opportunities to include pertinent models and analysis; sensitivity analysis, cost/ benefit and payback period.
  • Prepare relevant accounts for Fixed Assets.
  • Participate in controlling and reporting cash outflows across the business.
  • Request and collate on a weekly basis, any foreign exchange requirements for consolidation.
  • Ensure monthly intercompany transactions balance with counterparts and, where applicable, raise manual intercompany sales invoices.

Must haves:

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to gain high levels of business performance through interaction and communication with key stakeholders.
  • SAP experience.
