A Finance Assistant role with a leading sustainability business in Bristol- Permanent and fulltime, offering up to £25,000 and very flexible working
About Our Client:
Our client is an industry leading company based in the heart of Bristol's vibrant city centre, with a mission to accelerate change towards an environmentally sustainable world.
The key duties and responsibilities of this Finance Assistant role are
- Cash / Treasury
- Daily posting of cash receipts/payments onto finance system
- Weekly cash flow support to commercial finance analyst
- Credit control support; focus on large debtors falling overdue.
- Manage credit control of small scheme.
- Chasing aged debt/invoicing to cover annual leave/sickness.
- Submitting office credit card transactions on Concur and providing support to other card holders.
- Posting purchase invoices on Sage for specific accounts
- Weekly payment run to cover annual leave/sickness of other team members.
The Successful Applicant:
- A strong communicator (oral and written) with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Able to pick up new processes/systems quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
- Great team working and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong IT skills across the Microsoft suite of packages
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and external demands.
- Accounts receivable experience is preferable.
