LEGAL ASSISTANT

Requirements and Responsibilities:


  • File opening and client onboarding steps including preparing documentation, dealing with conflict checks, obtaining ID checks and processing signed documents from clients.
  • Liaising with Clients, Solicitors and Third Parties.
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal documents.
  • Managing confidential client or case information.
  • Ordering searches.
  • Dealing with post completion matters with the Land Registry.
  • Assisting in organising legal files.
  • Assisting with preparing Court bundles.
  • Giving a great first impression when potential Clients get in touch.
  • Preparing documents for Accounts including invoices, payment request slips, receipts.
  • Accurately updating the firm's case management system.
  • Undertaking general office duties including greeting clients when they visit the office, answering the telephone, keeping the kitchens/meeting rooms tidy and well stocked.
