Description
We are now seeking an experienced Construction Project Planner to join our team.

Vanguard Healthcare Solutions Modular is part of Vanguard Healthcare Solutions Limited which was established in 1999. A UK-Based, privately owned, international provider of infrastructure and clinical services supporting healthcare clients worldwide.


Our purpose-designed and built mobile and modular facilities provide our clients with new or replacement healthcare spaces including operating theatres, endoscopy suites and sterilisation and diagnostic departments.

As part of our solution to our clients we also support them with clinical teams and equipment for our facilities.


We are looking for a Construction Project Planner in a hybrid role with a nationwide reach for our construction manufacturing team, who are based in Hull.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project goals, objectives, and constraints
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams involved in the construction process
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential bottlenecks
  • Regularly update and monitor project timelines, making adjustments as needed to ensure adherence to deadlines
  • Monitor expenditures, ensuring projects stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution
  • Maintain clear and open communication channels between all project stakeholders
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Planner or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, both Asta and MSP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in a similar construction planning project management environment
