Description

Reed Procurement Norwich are working with a Luxury Automotive firm in Norwich to recruit a number of
Material Planners. Due to the location of this role, access to own transport is required

Full Time Monday to Friday

Fixed Term 9 Months


Material Planner duties:


  • Schedule supply of components and materials to meet production requirements.
  • Assess volume requirements against future published production plans and report concerns. Monitor and react to MRP Messages as appropriate.
  • Liaise with Suppliers to expedite deliveries to meet production requirements.
  • Take appropriate action to minimise shortages, follow up with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Inventory checks and report inaccuracies to the Perpetual Inventory Department.
  • Support Accounts Payable with resolution of invoice queries relating to deliveries

Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma or equivalent, preferably with CIPS qualification.
  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • PC Literate with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
