Role purpose


Working as a member of the Grounds routine & reactive team you will be delivering a wide range of services including Parks & Open spaces, Cemetery maintenance, Highways Maintenance, Road sweeping & Street cleaning.


What you'll be doing

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Grounds Maintenance Operations (Grass cutting/strimming, Hedge cutting, Shrub pruning, Border work, Weed control, Grave digging with/without a digger & General landscaping);
  • Highway Operations (Highway repairs, Minor Civil Engineering works, Jetting of drainage systems, Installation & maintenance of Traffic Management);
  • Street Cleansing Operations (Litter Bin collection, Litter picking, Fly Tip removal, Dead animal collection, Other cleansing services);
  • Support the emergency response team;
  • Carry out Point of Work Risk Assessments for all tasks.

Who we're looking for
To join us in this role, you
must demonstrate/obtain the following:

  • A Passion for Traffic Management;
  • Health & Safety Awareness;
  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Experience of working within a Ground Maintenance Environment.
