- £36,281 pa, Grade J
  • Leeds 37 hours pw. Applications for part time / job share will be considered

  • We currently have a vacancy for a Bus Performance Improvement Coordinator to join our Highways Network Management team within Transport Operations, and Passenger Experience._

The Role

  • Reporting into the Bus Performance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:_
  • To provide an engineering overview to highways projects and schemes impacting public transport services within West Yorkshire
  • To provide analysis and comment on highways modelling data presented by district authorities and other 3rd parties
  • Reviewing the impact of highways schemes on bus performance through analysis and reporting on bus reliability and punctuality
  • Responding to traffic management schemes affecting public transport and representing the interests of WYCA at internal and external meetings
  • To lead on inputs to scheme development to provide an analytical overview of BSIP, CRSTS, TCF and other West Yorkshire Transport Fund projects.

About you

  • You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:_
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant education/experience
  • Experience of effectively contributing to organisational vision.
  • Knowledgeable of modelling data and how it can be applied in a practical operational environment
  • Influential and persuasive in meetings relating to planned highways schemes to achieve improved operational bus performance
  • A strong communicator who can provide accurate information to the different audiences requiring feedback on bus service performance
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain focussed on delivering the best solution for public transport
  • An understanding of the political environment
